Giant Microbes

Came across this cute yet interesting website which sells microbes plushies in the newspaper:

So i give it a try, I found it very interesting and decided to share with you all :)

1. Type www.giantmicrobes,com in the address bar.

2. You will come to a webpage just like this:

3. Scroll down~

4. There are loads of links to choose from, so click which ever category you are interested in:)

5. I click on this pink button.


And i came to this webpage:


On the left top corner shows the microscopic image of the swine flu whereas the right hand corner shows the swine flu plushie!!! Cute!!

6. On the top, there is a search engine. I was wondering what E.coli is gonna look like and so i type "Escherichia coli" in the box.


7. And i came across this:


E.coli has FLAGELLA????!!!! How come we never learned that E.coli has flagella? Or is it just me, who often lacks of general knowledge =.=

8. Lastly, next to the search bar, is where you can choose from various categories.
